Having a conviction requires much more than just believing.

It is the certainty of doing something with greatness. That vision gives us the satisfaction of bringing not only our wines, but also our terroir, the Aconcagua Valley, to the world stage.

Marcela Romagnoli, Sculptress

Bachelor of Art with distinction in Sculpture from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, 1988-1993.

Marcela has participated in more than 20 wood, marble and granite sculpture symposia, in Chile and abroad, from 1998 to 2019.

Marcela has a degree in Art with a distinction in Sculpture from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Since 1998 she has participated in more than 20 wood, marble and granite sculpture symposiums.

Her exhibitions stand out for their level of detail and sensitivity, attracting the attention of attendees, both in Chile and abroad.

Her 7 monumental works in the Mall Plaza de Concepción and Santiago are emblematic, in bronze, steel and fibre resin between 2006 and 2011, "United" in Carrara marble and lacquered cast iron, in the hard square of the CCU Building in the commune de Vitacura, Santiago in 2007, or "Tree of Life" in Clínica Alemana de Santiago, in 2002.

Marcela describes her work as "abstract figurative sculpture", where men and women are the protagonists and act as immediate references for the public.

The artist pays special attention to sculptural work processes, since she considers them as important as the works themselves.

“I love materials and their versatility, I love marble for its divine character, granite for its strength and gravity, native, organic and deep wood, magical and intriguing salt, cold and noble metals and finally ice as a material more to begin to discover in its icy and ephemeral transparency”, admits Marcela.

A declaration of love for creation, TO THE MAX.

Sebastián Jara, Chef

Discover story

Sebastián was born in Los Andes and was raised from a young age in Santiago.

He approached gastronomy at the age of 14, handing out flyers in the morning in a restaurant and as a kitchen assistant in the afternoon.

He studied cooking at the Liceo Arturo Alessandri Palma, a period in which he began his internship and, during the weekends, he helped his mother make and sell empanadas.

Graduating as an outstanding student in 2007, he was sent to the Sheraton Santiago, doing his internship at the El Cid restaurant, together with chef Josef Gander's team.

In 2010 he joined the Osaka team, then at W Santiago. There he had his first contact with Nikkei food at the hands of Ciro Watanabe. In 2011 he was promoted to Chef de partie and in 2013 he was positioned along with the restaurant in the list of the 50 Best Latam.

In 2017 he received an opportunity to work on a new W Santiago project: Karai, the restaurant that would replace Osaka, directed by Mitsuharu "Micha" Tsumura, Chef and owner of Maido, three times winner of the best restaurant in Latin America.

In 2019, "Micha" granted him the position of Chef at Karai, although the restaurant had to close its doors due to the pandemic, which opened up a new opportunity for him: to be Executive Chef at Casa Las Cujas, in Cachagua, with the idea of opening in Vitacura, with an innovative offer: beach cuisine using fresh products with Chilean, Japanese and Peruvian touches.

Finding much more in the kitchen than flavour is living TO THE MAX.
