Don Maximiano Founder's Reserve 2018 is selected among the 11 Cabernet Sauvignons from the best wine regions in the world

A recent publication by Robb Report, a US magazine focused on luxury and lifestyle, highlighted Viña Errázuriz's iconic icon wine, Don Maximiano Founder's Reserve, 2018 vintage, as one of the best 11 Cabernet Sauvignon wines produced in outstanding wine regions around the world, being the only Chilean representative on the list.

Don Maximiano Founder's Reserve is a reflection of the visionary and pioneering spirit of its founder, Don Maximiano Errázuriz, which has endured for six generations and has allowed Viña Errázuriz to consolidate its position as the benchmark of quality and image worldwide for fine wines in Chile.

Aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, this outstanding example reflects the best of the Aconcagua Valley terroir, recognized for its unique aromas of blueberry, cassis and crushed flower petals that pave the way for fine-grained tannins, balanced acidity and flavors of black plum, dark cherry and red currant.

Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape originating in France, being one of the two main grapes of Bordeaux along with Merlot. Since the mid-19th century, it has been planted in different wine-producing countries, such as Chile, Argentina, the United States, Australia, South Africa, among others, and is also the wine grape with the greatest presence in vineyards worldwide.
