Latest report from Robert Parker The Wine Advocate places once again Viña Errázuriz among Chile's quality referents
Viña Errázuriz was recognised once again in the latest Annual Report on Chile by Robert Parker The Wine Advocate, respected publication in the wine industry.
In the document, the renowned Spanish critic and member of Robert Parker's team, and one of the most influential in the wine world, Luis Gutiérrez, recognized Las Pizarras Chardonnay 2021 with outstanding 97+ points, placing it in the 4th place of the list and positioning it as one of the best wines from Chile among more than 1,003 wines tasted by the expert. This is in addition to the recognitions already obtained for this wine by other international critics such as James Suckling and Tim Atkin MW.
"...This is a wine with full development of aromas and flavors, subtly nuanced (marzipan, pear, white flowers) with very integrated oak and stunning precision, finishing very dry. Delicate and elegant. It's among the finest vintages, with less power than 2015, vertical and with good structure, more Chablis than Meursault. Superb!"
In this new edition of the report, all of Viña Errázuriz's icon wines were scored above 92 points, including the 2019 and 2020 vintages of KAI, La Cumbre, Villa Don Maximiano and the iconic Don MaximianoFounder's Reserve, as well as the 2020 and 2021 vintages of Las Pizarras Syrah, Las Pizarras Pinot Noir and Las Pizarras Chardonnay.
Along with this, Gutiérrez also highlighted the 2020 vintage of Errázuriz MAX, positioning MAX Carmenere 2020 with 91 points.
